HEALYAC Meeting 1

During our first HEAL YAC meeting of the 2018-19 year, Western University PhD student of HEAL, Brenton Button presented his research on the Spatial Temporal Environment and Activity Monitoring Project. Brenton Button approached our YAC for their perspectives on the different methods of survey data collection.

Karen Stewart Kirk, a recent Master’s of Public Health graduate from the HEAL, also spoke with the YAC on the SmartAPPetite project and her research.

Our YAC co-facilitators later discussed the two main projects that the council will be working on for the year and went over council protocols. Lastly, the council created a suggestion box for collecting suggestions anonymously.
