HEAL Faculty Assocaite Profile: Dr. Jamie Seabrook
Dr. Jamie Seabrook from Brescia University College shares his experience as an Assistant Professor, and role as a current HEAL Faculty Associate. Dr. Jamie Seabrook became a Faculty Associate with the HEAL in 2014. Dr. Seabrook assists the HEAL with projects that involve the social determinants of child health as well as sample size calculations, study design, and advanced statistical methods. With HEAL’s connection to public health and the practice of community geography, Seabrook has been uniquely positioned to collaborate with Dr. Jason Gilliland to study the importance of geographical context as it relates to health outcomes. As an Assistant Professor at Brescia University College and Scientist with the Children’s Health Research Institute, his work focuses on the social determinants of child health and perinatal epidemiology.
