HEAL Faculty Associate discusses Historical GIS in ABC 10 Interview

Dr. Lafreniere, HEAL Faculty Associate, was interviewed by ABC 10 on his recently funded National Endowment for the Humanities project to create a longitudinal and mobile phone enabled Public Participatory Historical GIS.  The project entitled, Keweenaw Time Traveler, is recreating the natural, built, social, and industrial environments of the south shore of Lake Superior from 1840-1970.
