Dr Gilliland in South Carolina to Talk about Children’s Health

Tuesday, May 12, 2015

Professor Jason Gilliland was in South Carolina this week to give two invited talks about Children’s Health and the Environment. His first talk was at the Department of Family Medicine in the Greenville Health System, primarily to an audience of faculty and pediatric residents with an interest in environmental influences on children’s health.  The second public talk at the Mary Black Foundation in Spartanburg was primarily to members of different organizations interested in how ‘design thinking’ can help promote early childhood development and healthy living for children.  Professor Gilliland was invited to South Carolina by the Institute for Child Success, a research and policy organization that fosters public and private partnerships to align and improve resources for the success of young children in South Carolina and beyond.
