Joannah Campbell

MA Candidate, Research Associate

Joannah has been involved with the HEAL Lab since 2010, originally as an undergraduate student volunteer and now as a member of the research associates team. She is currently employed as the Manager of Aquatics at the YMCA of Western Ontario and is also involved with ACT-i-Pass implementation at YMCAWO sites throughout the city. In her masters research Joannah hopes to evaluate the impact of transportation on youth access to recreation facilities and programming. The aim of this evaluation is to provide policy planners and health professionals with valuable information to help improve the recreation landscape in London, Ontario. This research also allows Joannah to focus on her other interests including physical activity (PA), urban planning, recreation, and the built environment (GIS).
