The COVID-19 pandemic and physical distancing measures present a unique and urgent opportunity to improve our understanding of how different environments impact the wellbeing and health-related habits of teens.
The HEAL Youth Advisory Council (HEALYAC) in collaboration with Dr. Gilliland and his research team are conducting a project to examine the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and physical distancing on the health-related habits and wellbeing of teens ages 13-19 years. Two key research questions will be examined as a part of this project:
- How has COVID-19 pandemic impacted the health and health-related habits of teens ages 13 to 19 years?
- How has COVID-19 pandemic impacted the vaping habits (e.g., frequency of use, access) of teens ages 13 to 19 years?
