Dr. Trish Tucker from Western University shares her work, research, and graduate experience with the HEAL. Trish completed an independent study with Dr. Jason Gilliland at the HEAL when she was in her PhD. She then worked as a Research Assistant on one of Jason’s Canadian Institute of Health Research (CIHR) projects, which became the focus of her doctoral research. Trish is currently a co-investigator on the Act-i-Pass project. She is also an Associate Professor within the School of Occupational Therapy at Western University and the Director of Child Health & Physical Activity Laboratory at Western University. Her role as the Director of the Child Health & Physical Activity Laboratory entails training future research scientists and health professionals. Her lab is committed to improving the physical activity levels of young children in Canada, specifically in childcare settings.
