HEAL Alumni Profile: Alina Medeiros
Alina Medeiros shares her work, research, and graduate experience with the HEAL. Alina started in the HEAL in September 2017 as an undergraduate Health Sciences practicum student. During this time, she started working on the Active and Safe Routes to School project. After she graduated in April 2018, she stayed in the lab and continued to work on Active and Safe Routes to School as a master’s student in the Geography department. Her thesis focused on equity in active school travel interventions. Alina is currently working as the Student Engagement Portfolio Assistant at School Mental Health Ontario.
