HEALYAC 2025-2026: Meeting #9

This meeting focused on planning our upcoming conference of Youth Advisory Councils across Canada. More specifically, we worked on a grant application to support the event. Team members first broke into small groups to work on individual sections of the application form. The whole group then came back together to review each section and finalize the submission.
It was the first time team members participated in a grant application process, and we were able to demystify it together. By the end, there was a shared sense of accomplishment. This was a valuable learning experience that may empower our team members in future endeavors.
We are keeping our fingers crossed for a positive result. With some time remaining in the meeting, we also discussed a few innovative ideas for the format of the next HEALYAC podcast episode.
