Alina is a Research Associate at the Human Environments Analysis Laboratory (HEAL). Her research interests include equity, active school travel, and children’s independent mobility. Having begun at the HEAL as an undergraduate practicum student, most of Alina’s work has been with the Active and Safe Routes to School Partnership. Her educational background is in Health Sciences (BHSc.) and Geography (MSc.). Alina completed her Master’s degree at the HEAL, focused on equity in children’s active school travel interventions and independent mobility.
