Ama Boamah is a Master of Public Health Candidate at Western University and has been involved with the FRESHER Project since May of 2020. With experience in the medical field linked to her undergraduate studies, her interests shifted from clinical-based care to public health, particularly around health promotion and global health. Her current research interests lie in International and global health in terms of diseases surveillance, as well as health promotion and socio-behavioural health sciences.
