Leah Taylor
Master's Student
Leah joined the HEAL team in September 2016, after completing her undergrad in health sciences focusing on health promotion, and with experience working with Niagara Region Public Health (Chronic Disease and Injury Prevention). Leah area of interest is the upstream environmental influences on children’s health, which is why she is pursuing her Master’s in geography. Her research focuses on the impact of environmental influences and policy implications on barriers children face to outdoor physical activity in their communities. Leah supports the HEAL on a number of projects including OSNP, and the Children and Nature Systematic Review, but is specifically focused on the STEAM project.
